Heart Saver   Pediatric

Course Description: Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that teaches students to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 U.S. states.

  • Youth organizations

  • Coaches for children’s sports organizations

  • Others responsible for children including parents, grandparents, babysitters and guardians

Course Length: An initial and renewal certification class lasts approximately  3 hours.

Course Notes: The Heart Saver    Pediatric certification must be renewed every two years by taking a refresher course.  This course provides the student with a valid CPR/AED card valid for two years. Cards are provided to the student upon completion of the course. Blended Learning is also offered.

Course Cost:  Initial and Renewal Courses: $65 dollars per student.  Price includes all necessary course supplies and a provider manual may be provided for consultation during class. Textbook is not included in the price. The Provider Manual may be purchased if desired on behalf of the student through the AHA website. Payment is required at the time of registration.
